Atakora River

The Atakora River is a tributary of the Niger River in western Africa. The Atakora arises in northern Benin and flows north, forming part of the international boundaries between Benin and Burkina Faso and between Benin and Niger. The point at which it merges with the Niger River on the Benin–Niger border is the northernmost point in Benin. A part of the Atakora is also the easternmost point in Burkina Faso.
